About the Cline Cattle Company Operation:
Our registered Angus and Simmental operation began in 1996 with one Angus and one Simmental show heifer. Since then we've added a few choice Red Angus and Horned Hereford females into the herd. Our passion for the business grew rapidly and turned from hobby to business. CCC is a complete family run business with Lance, Austin and wife Shenan being the primary operators. The registered herd is made up of approximately 60 registered females of superior genetics and quality. Countless hours have been spent and miles have been driven assembling this small but growing unique cowherd. We still add a female here and there when we find one too good to pass up. A tremendous amount of time and thought goes into each and every mating to assure the best combination possible to our customers. We utilize artificial insemination extensively as well as flushing our top cows to the very elite bulls of the breed. We are currently stepping up our ET program and putting in more eggs each year. Our breeding philosophy is to concentrate on having the ideal brood cow first and foremost! This means structurally correct, broody, reproductively sound, good uddered and dispositioned! We feel good bulls will come from these traits as well! These are the kind of cattle that you can keep for the long term and be profitable in doing so!
